Alawar Entertainment is excited to announce the success of the PlayStation 3 version of Magic Ball, a Breakout-style 3D game custom-made to thrill arcade fans. Released in January, the game jumped to the number three spot among the best-selling titles on the PlayStation Network and remained in the top 10 for two months.

American parents and teachers have honored Farm Frenzy 2 and Treasure Masters from Alawar Entertainment with a 2009 Best Products award. The two groups placed the casual offerings at the top of its list of family-oriented software. The number one spot went to Farm Frenzy 2, which has thrilled kids and parents alike.

From February 10-12, Alawar Entertainment participated in Casual Connect: Hamburg 2009, a conference dedicated to the current state of the global casual games market. The main topics of discussion were surviving the financial crisis, the increasingly social nature of games, the rapid development of console projects and regional distribution markets.

Alawar Entertainment will take part in Game Connection America, scheduled which to take place March 24-26 in San Francisco as part of the Game Developers Conference (GDC), the largest forum of computer game developers. Alawar’s representatives will also visit Minna Mingle, an informal summit organized by the Casual Game Association for representatives of the casual games industry.
